Major work took place today for the paving of Eagle Point Drive. This morning, the section was graded dirt and gravel. This afternoon, the first layer of asphalt covered it. The finishing layer will likely be applied after the holiday. It’s okay to drive on the new asphalt. As of this hour, the surface is still hot and parking on it should be avoided until it cools.
