A Clark Lake cultural truth is the constant action to elevate what we have. That includes the Spirit Trail and its amenities. Over the last several years, the Trail committee has planted all-weather benches at strategic points around the lake. With a donation to the Trail, the benches are inscribed with messages meaningful to individuals and families. Two recent benches now grace the lake just south of the west end boat launch. Here, the Lyons family benches are located.
Roger Lyons thought further adornment would enhance the experience of those walkers, runners, and cyclists who happen by them. Two new hydrangea trees now showcase the benches and beckon passers-by to enjoy the view.
