The Township Park at the west end of Clark Lake has reopened.  On Monday evening, Township trustees closed the park temporarily after a juvenile cut himself over the weekend.  According to Interim Police Chief Jay Niles, the injury required stitches at an urgent care facility in Jackson.

A volunteer scuba team from Divers Mast searched the waters around the park yesterday in an attempt to find what caused the injury.  Although not able to pinpoint a cause, they found a couple issues to correct.  They removed a cement block found in the swim area.  The swim buoys are attached by dock posts that are screwed tightly against the lake bottom. The divers found a cap over a post missing, and replaced it.
