The ice on the lake is melting fast and the snow is almost gone. With the thermometer indicating high 50s this afternoon (Monday 3/7), the weather definitely is pointing to the coming season. Bill Leutz caught a glimpse of it in the Oakwood area in this photo. The swans are on the lake, the dock is waiting patiently for its turn in the water, and the birdhouse might as well have a welcome sign for the migratory birds.
