The Easter Bunny might have sloshed through an all-day rain, but that didn’t stop the hunt.  Kids up to 12 gathered at Lions Park in Clark Lake to collect as many eggs as they could.  The reward? Easter baskets and cool toys.

Each Easter the Clarklake Lions Club and the Community Church sponsor the event.  For the last two years the hunt was soggy, but not the spirit of the participants.  Check out some of the smiling faces.

For most of the day, rain settled in as the predominate weather feature.  Easter Sunday will be different.  The forecast calls for sunny skies, 68 degrees and little wind.  That should feel a lot like spring.
