As promised, this website is keeping you up to date on the latest from the Eagle’s Nest.  Some of what follows will have a familiar ring to long term Clark Lakers.  Good ideas have a way of reappearing.  So, what are they?

Fish Friday features a new kind of cod.  Eagle Nest’s owner Blair Huff says these “filets will be hand battered,” different from the fish currently on the menu.

This Friday only, the Eagle’s Nest will offer a free appetizer during a radio remote between 5 pm and 6 pm.  This appetizer is well established as a crowd favorite, says Blair—Mexican Street Corn Dip with homemade pita chips.

Look for these additions.  During October two new ones debut–a special calamari appetizer and pumpkin pie hummus.  If that last one seems a bit unusual, don’t be dissuaded.  Blair expects pumpkin pie hummus it to be winner, but just like the calamari, he says “get it while you can” (October only).

Another new menu item is the black beanburger.  This all vegan creation includes melted pepper jack cheese, lettuce, hummus, relish, onion and tomato.

And to top off this announcement, the Eagle’s Nest crew is looking forward to serving the new Sunday Brunch.  Blair says “the new brunch menu is especially designed to meet and exceed your expectations” between 10 am and 2 pm.

On Sundays, the Eagle’s Nest will be open 10 am until 8 pm.
