On Saturday afternoon, an eagle spent some quality time on Clark Lake’s newly formed ice in Pierces Bay.  Though not visible in the photo, the eagle appeared to be enjoying a snack of something it found or caught.  Upon deciding it was time to leave, the eagle took flight, as you’ll see in the video.  It headed to the north shore then took a right turn toward Eagle Point (of course).

Another sighting took place earlier in the day.  Anita Cummings spotted an eagle leisurely perched in a South Woodlands tree.

Last night offered another brilliant Clark Lake sunset.  Its most impressive moment lasted only a short time.

As the sun headed beyond the horizon, the afterglow lingered.
