Can you feel the heat?  That’s the competitive spirit emanating from the Men’s Shuffleboard League as they return to the longboard.  The league went into hiatus in 2020 for you know what, and recently have resumed where they left off.  Here are the standings, now in the second week of the season.

A sad note concludes this report.  One of the founders of the league has passed away.  Dan Rothfuss died on December 8th.  His obituary comments “If you had occasion to be in the Beach Bar in past years, you may remember Dan as a four sport athlete—golf, pool, shuffleboard and Keno.”

At the end of the 2020 season, Marv Walczak and Dan were named 2020 co-MVPs.

Dan Rothfuss is pictured below with Tucker Boyers, the other founding member who is part of the shuffleboard league.  The photo was taken on Super Saturday, March 15, 2020.

Here’s a group photo taken after ceremonies on Super Saturday 2020.

For a departing note, this photo of the moon over Clark Lake was taken on December 17th around 4 am.
