The Clark Lake Lions Club created lots of smiles for kids, their parents and grandparents yesterday.

The Easter Egg Hunt took place at Lions Park for kids 2 through 12.  Younger kids hunted for eggs in the smaller area near the clubhouse.  Older kids had their adventure in the larger field.  From the looks on faces, all kids enjoyed the bounty.  The plastic eggs contained various candies and other items to take home.  Among the hundreds of eggs were nine golden ones.  Each of those had a ticket inside that entitled the bearer to an Easter basket chocked with goodies.  In the slide show, you’ll see the kids, parents, and relatives, all who enjoyed Clark Lake’s bright sunshine.  Unlike Friday, no rain fell, and the wind behaved itself.

The Lions enlisted the help of Derek Jackson from Columbia Schools.  Student leadership members prepared the fields and deposited the eggs on behalf of the Easter bunny.
