Recently support for the Columbia Township police and fire departments came through loud and clear. In the August election, millages for both departments passed overwhelmingly. The outcome neither increases or decreases the dollar amount that is applied to police and fire budgets, but keeps it on even keel. Voters showed strong confidence by maintaining the current level of Township fire and police services.
