Clark Lake was busy today on this Sunday, August 23, 2020. What was it like in 1984? It so happens we have video evidence. Today’s video and the 1984 video were recorded from a similar vantage point along the Eagle Point shoreline, looking west. The last segment of this two minute feature pans from west to north. In that segment, you’ll also see a clip from 1949. Unlike today and 1984 segment, the 1949 film may not have been taken on a Sunday. Love it… I’m sure I was on the water that day in 1984.
I loved watching all the sailboats in 1984 and that’s one thing that’s missing in 2020. Other than that, the lake is beautiful!
Back in the days when the yacht club was full of Rebel sailboats, and raced every weekend.
I think that was one of my sons out there sailing!
