The CDC has recommended “wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.”  Clark Lake’s Michele Studer is helping.  Michele’s Quilting Cottage, new to Brooklyn, has organized creating facemasks and distributing them in our area.

Judi Kelly is making the masks available at Doyle’s.  You’ll find them individually bagged on the counter as you enter the store.

Michele also notes that Country Market has requested 189 of the masks for their employees.  And also at Country Market, she will be providing “a special bin set aside so management can offer a mask to any elderly person who enters the store without one.”

Michele’s effort is collaborative.  Others have pitched in to provide materials and to sew them.  And we have Michele to thank for making this happen.
