Eagle has landedThere have been several sightings of Clark Lake’s eagle.  The most recent was Friday when the eagle displayed its agility over both ends of the lake.  This photo is also recent, courtesy of Margie Harris and her husband.  It was taken not far from the Eagle Point cove, just west of the Clark Lake Yacht Club.  The eagle settled on a tree branch long enough for this up close and personal photo.

Below, a photo of the current-day eagle at Eagle Point.  This eagle has landed but is not going away anytime soon.eagle at Eagle Point

Becky Consonni comments:

It would be really fantastic if there was a spot for the eagle to land on Eagle Point. A platform or something near the water where the eagles could perch and look for blue gills. Just a thought. I think they want to roost there like there ancestors did.
