The temperature dipped to 8 degrees overnight, perhaps lower in some areas.  That cold plus other deep freeze days and nights has given Clark Lake a significant layer of ice.  But how significant?  A drill down this morning at 9 am revealed the depth to be 7 1/2 inches about 50 feet from the shoreline.  To quote the advertising world, your results may vary.  Indeed, there are open spots.  If your experience is different, please leave a comment.
