Two important updates on Christmas at Clark Lake.

The Garden Angels hold their annual “Buy a Wreath” sale tomorrow (Sat, Nov 27), 9 to noon.  You can purchase in advance through the donation tab on this website or pay cash in person tomorrow morning at the pick up site at the Community Center.  Wreaths are $50.

“Buy a Wreath” is the Garden Angels only fundraiser this year.  And what are the Garden Angels about?  They plant and maintain the gardens around the Community Center, the Triangle and the Tom Collins marker in the County Park on the Spirit Trail.

Meanwhile, at the Tiny Pear Tree in Brooklyn…

When the white travel mugs with the Welcome to Clark Lake mural imprinted went on sale, they vanished in a heartbeat.  Annette Fink, who designed and crafted the sign, says the new shipment arrived earlier than expected. They are available right now at the Tiny Pear Tree, 132 Main St., Brooklyn.  But if past behavior is any indication of future performance, don’t delay to get the smiles you want to see at Christmas.

Proceeds will go toward the Save the Community Center Restoration.  Cash purchases only.
